1. Registration and Enrollment
Eligibility: To enroll, students must be at least 16 years old and hold a valid learner’s license or equivalent.
Registration Process: Complete our registration form online or in person. Provide the necessary documents, including identification and permit details.
Confirmation of Registration: After registration, you will receive a confirmation email detailing your initial lesson schedule and all required preliminary information.
2. Payment
Payment Methods: We accept electronic transfers, checks, or cash. Payments should be made upon receiving or confirming your lesson.
Prices: Our standard rate is $85 per hour, and each in-car session lasts a minimum of 60 minutes practice time. Discounted packages for multiple lessons are available to help you save money.
Refund Policy: Payments are non-refundable, except under special conditions outlined in our refund policy.
Prices include 5% GST.
3. Lesson Scheduling
Booking Lessons: Schedule lessons through our online booking system or by contacting our office.
Advance Notice: Lessons should be booked at least 24 hours in advance to ensure availability.
Lesson Duration: Each lesson lasts 1 hour unless otherwise specified in your package.
4. Transfer of Lessons
All lessons, including packages, are non-transferable to any party under any circumstances.
5. Driving Lessons
What to Expect: Each session will focus on developing driving skills, road safety, and preparation for the driving exam.
Instructor: A certified instructor will be assigned to provide you with personalized guidance throughout your lessons.
6. Vehicle Rental Package for Road Test
Vehicle Rental: We offer a car rental package for the road test at a cost of $180 , which includes 60 minutes of warm-up + a vehicle for the road test equipped with dual brakes for your ICBC road test.
Booking: Reserve the driving service package no later than 48 hours before your scheduled road test.
** If the client requesting a car rental is not a student of (Driving School) a minimal one hour driving skills assessment will be required. This will be charged at our regular hourly rate. **
Prices include 5% GST.
7. Lesson Cancellation
Notice Period: Cancellations must be made no later than 24 hours before the scheduled lesson. Failure to provide proper notice will result in a missed lesson fee.
Emergency Cancellations: If you need to cancel due to an emergency, contact us as soon as possible.
8. Complete Lessons within 12 Months
Students are expected to complete their lessons within 12 months from the payment date; no refunds or lessons will be provided for incomplete sessions after 12 months.
9. Rescheduling and Refunds
Rescheduling: Reschedule lessons with at least 24 hours’ notice. Reschedule requests made within 24 hours of the lesson will incur a rescheduling fee.
Refunds: No refunds are provided for missed lessons or cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice. Refunds for prepaid packages are only available under exceptional circumstances and are subject to approval.
10. Late Arrival and No-Show Policy
Late Arrival: If you are late for a lesson, it will end at the originally scheduled time, and no additional time will be provided.
No-Show: Failure to attend a scheduled lesson without prior notice will result in full payment for the missed session.
11. Vehicle Maintenance and Damage Liability
Vehicle Condition: We maintain our vehicles in good working order. If you notice any issues, report them to the instructor immediately.
Damage Liability Policy: Students are responsible for any damage to the vehicle during lessons. Repair fees will be charged if the damage is caused by negligence or misuse.
12. Additional Passengers
We allow a max of 1 additional person in the vehicle during the lesson for the purpose of observation. $25/lesson for additional person.
13. Road Booking fees
$40 for road test booking
NOTE: For cancelling a road test appointment made by the school, we require 72 hours notice, as we must notify ICBC. Failure to give (Driving School) 72 hours notice may result in a late cancellation fee being charged by ICBC.
